Why competitive players choose Mission
-
We are a softball club made up of passionate members. We are not a training center or a business. Being a club with members we care about drives are purpose in a different way. We run our organization for the benefit of the young female fast pitch athlete, not to make a profit or build our egos. 11 young women formed this club and players and parents have been and continue to be very involved in it’s direction and purpose.
-
Mission offered each player the opportunity to participate in 236.25 hours of training with catchers and pitchers getting 279.25! Each player had 13 hours per week of off season training options last Fall/Winter. This is because our focus is to improve the talent in our teams and players.
-
Our 12U team played over 90 games and 16 tournaments in the 2022-23 season! Most Mission teams play 50-80 with 3-4 tourneys in the fall, 2 in the Winter and 6-7 in the Summer. We practice 2-3 times a week in Fall and Spring/Summer.
-
Mission teams won multiple tournaments and placed high in many others. We have been invited to a number of invite-only tournaments.
-
We partner with sports Psycologist Dr Allie Wagener, Ph.D to work with our athletes and coaches on mental fitness training. She has worked with the Gophers, Wild and many youth athletes. Just like strength & speed training this is included in your team fee.
-
We support players looking to play in college by providing recruiting guidance from our recruiting director, Nikki Caicedo whom is a college coach herself. She offers 12 webinars, guides, individual meetings, recruiting hours and more to help your family understand your role in finding the right fit for you. We also offer Sports Recruit online profiles, showcase tournaments and help with video production - all included.
-
Though fundraising options exist, families are not required to participate and are not required to commit any hours to volunteering at all.
