Mission 16U National

Team Profile

This team is built for the most competitive softball player. 16U National will be built of 12-13 athletes that are committed to challenging their potential as individuals and as a team. The right players for this team are those that are looking to play in college or have the mindset to train at that same level.

Head Coach

Mike Perry, Head Coach

Coach Perry is a tough and demanding coach who supports his players and wants the best for them. He expects them to be a student of the game so they can get what they want out of their softball career.

Coach Perry has been assisting or coaching in girls fastpitch for the past 18 years. Most recently the head coach of a Midwest Speed 16U National team. Mike also coaches with Sean Hall at Forest Lake H.S.

Prior to coming back to MN three years ago, Coach Mike was the 16U Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier team head coach- a premier organization in Alabama where his daughter played before playing 5 years at Auburn University, and now professionally in the WPF. He also assisted the organization as their recruiting coordinator.

Mike’s collegiate coach contacts are a valuable asset to the Mission Organization and its players, looking to play at the next level. His attitude and knowledge of the game as a whole will benefit our girls immensely.
